Katelyn E. Myrick, LPCC

Katelyn Myrick is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a strong foundation in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. A Paducah native, Katelyn graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology and minor in Social Work in 2014. Followed by graduating in 2016 with an Education Specialist (Ed.S) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Murray State University. Since graduating, Katelyn has worked in a variety of mental health settings such as: local community mental health non-profit, school based services, mental health crisis intervention and assessments, and private practice.

Katelyn has a broad area of experience and enjoys working with children and teens (ages 3-18) and adults of all ages. Katelyn sees clients struggling with: depression, anxiety, grief, trauma/PTSD, adjustment disorders, anger, women’s health/postpartum, and mood disorders. Katelyn works from a CBT and Motivational Interviewing approach and is looking to work with individuals who are motivated to change. Since 2022, Katelyn is trained in EMDR for adults and children.
